Today was our final day at our ministry sites.  Everyone had an awesome experience and are grateful that God allowed us to be part of His Kingdom work here in Charleston.  We ended the afternoon by running the mega relay.  It was hot, but a lot of fun.  This was our group dog pile picture after the race.  We’ve got a ton of great future footage, but it’s to late at this point to edit and post a video.  You’ll have to wait a little longer to see the full trip experience video.  Tomorrow we’re finishing up with camp and heading to a water park and then some time in downtown Charleston.

Today at site JD, Aaron & Samantha’s Evangelism team led a guy to Christ at the beach.  They were so excited.

Tonight ends our third full day of ministry here in Charleston.  It’s been a good day.  After a 15hr day of camp and ministry we ended with a little craziness and fun at night life.  Students dressed up like famous people and there was a variety show.  LeAnn was Betsy Ross, Ashley was dressed as Daphnie, Nathan was dressed as Freddy, Elisabeth was dressed as Amelia Earhart, Steven Chen was dressed as ?, Justin Briscoe was dressed as ?, and Aaron Ross was dressed as the famous Nathan Neighbors.  Also, our very own, Janna McClure and Jacob Balmer performed.  Check out the video.

I’m a day behind on my blog updates…so this blog is about Tuesday and Wednesday.  We’re all having an amazing time so far.  Tuesday night in worship was great and God really got a hold of many of our students.  We concluded the night in a powerful time of church group sharing.  Many of the students asked for accountability from each other for help in their walk with Christ and encouragement to stay away from the pressures and struggles they face.

Wednesday was a great day at mission sites.  After sites, our eleven first time mission team students and adults were “inducted” in the proper manner to Morningside Youth Mission Trips.  We ended our day with a great meal at Bubba Gumps, worship, and church group devotion times.  Most were in bed by 12:30am and we’re back at it today at 7:00am
