It’s almost midnight on our first day at Garden City for our Youth Spring Retreat.  Though the weather is cold and rainy, the students are doing great and I can already see the Lord at work in their hearts and minds.

Our theme this week is, “In Transit.”  It’s a New York themed Bible Study series that talks about the importance of making connections with Christ in our everyday life.

We began our night with worship, Bible Study, and the some great night ultimate frisbee.  Only tonight it was more like polar frisbee.  It was so cold!

As I’m finishing this blog entry, I’m laying here listening to the sounds of teen guys cracking joked and making bodily noises.  After nine years of working with students some things never change….haha.  Keep praying for us.

No, I’ve not gotten charged with any crime or really sent to jail on a church night.  I just do that on Friday nights (Ha Ha – just kidding).  I am however, just back from a great service at Ignite.  We had another great crowd there this evening for our second worship service.

I’m actually working on raise “bail money” to get me out of the MDA lock up in November.  I’ve agreed to be “locked-up” for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association).  They are the great group of folks who raise money for Jerry’s Kids – maybe you’ve seen the Jerry Lewis telethon from time to time on TV.
