I just got the final tracks that will be on the youth band album.  It’s going to be awesome.  You can listen to the four tracks by clicking the songs on the right hand column of my blog.  Over three years ago some of the students and adults at Morningside began to dream about a group of people playing Contemporary Christian worship music at the church in a youth format.  Who would have guessed that this day would come?  Many students and adults have helped the band get to where it is today, but I’m most grateful to the Lord for allowing the band to grow and to use their talents to bring honor to His Name!  CD’s and digital download cards will be available in early September.  Most of the cost of purchasing the CD’s will go to recoop the cost of production, but any preceeds will go to the 2010 youth mission trip.  The following people played or sang on the album: Holly Bannan, Rick Hennecy, Lee Lancaster, JD Weeks & Nathan Neighbors.  It was recorded by Mckelvie Wilder.  Listen to the songs, buy a copy of the CD, and come join us for Ignite on Wedneday nights beginning September 2nd.
