Tonight we celebrated the end of our summer by recognizing Rev. Carole Johnson for her 11 years of service as our children’s pastor at Morningside. She retires at the end of the month. We love you Mrs. Carole and are grateful for all the ways the Lord used you to impact our lives for His glory. God bless you.

Wednesday night we had our report service here at Morningside for the Canada Mission Trip. Thanks to all of you who spoke about the great experiences we had in Kingston. Last night we had our weekly “Space Invaders” event for the teenagers. Each Sunday night in the summer we go and “invade” someones home (they know we’re coming over) for dinner and a fellowship. The Story’s hosted us last night and after a great dinner we had a friendly watermelon eating competition. Check out the video – it says it all.
