It’s 8:30PM (Spartanburg time) and our team is about two hours from St. Louis. Everyone is great, but tired from the 14 hour treck so far. Got to drive now – will blog again soon.

One of our students, Lauren Lytle, won Miss South Carolina Teen 2007 this weekend in Spartanburg. We are all very proud of Lauren and look forward to seeing what God does through this opportunity in her life. Lauren’s platform is about the importance of mentoring young people. That’s exactly what Morningside Youth is about. Helping develop teenagers who live lives to the full. The full and abundant lives that God calls us to live through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Way to go Lauren! We are all proud of you and praying for you during your busy year ahead. May God bless you and use you in mighty ways for his kingdom’s purpose.
Tonight was a great cookout and prayer time at our house. It was great to have almost all of our 54 missionaries together in one place to spend some time together. Thank you to all who brought food and helped pull of such a great event.
In just a few short days we will be packing the trailers and loading the buses for Omaha, NE. I look forward to what God has in store for us all. Please be in prayer for our team. We leave early on Friday the 13th for this nine day adventure to the Omaha reservation in Macy, NE. You can check back each day of our trip for updates.
