Today we celebrated the 21 students who are graduating this year from the Crash Students of Ebenezer Baptist Church! Here is our graduation video. It’s been a privilege to be your Youth Pastor these last six years. Congratulations Class of 2019!

Romans 1

Today we begin our Summer Bible Reading. We’re reading all of Paul’s letter together. We begin in Romans. The video overview of the first four chapters is linked below. As we begin, I love how Paul starts his letter to the Romans. I especially love verse 16. It says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

May we never be ashamed of Christ. May we be bold in our proclamation of his power and glory. May we do whatever we can to make much of him and less of us. It’s all about Jesus. Life is about Him…not me.

What jumps out to you in this chapter? Comment below.

Summer Bible Reading

It’s Summer 2019 and this summer we’re reading the letters of Paul. I’m looking forward to the Crash Students of Ebenezer jumping into these reading each day together. Each day we will read another chapter or two and post here about what we’re reading. I will write most of the posts, but often we will have students and youth leaders guest blog their thoughts on what they are reading. The Bible reading plan can be found on YouVersion. It’s a plan produced by The Bible Project. Check out their website for more details. We also have a copy of the reading plan on the cover of our Crash Summer Brochure. Join us this summer as we draw nearer to Jesus by spending more time in His Word. Today, go read Romans 1. Check back here daily for the next reading!
