Drive Game

Well, we’re on vacation in Edisto this week, but I wanted to try catching up on my blog.  This past Friday (May 23rd) we took some of the college students at Morningside to the Greenville Drive Baseball game.  Anderson went with us for his first real baseball game.  Here is photo off of my cell phone from the evening.  He was ready to go by the bottom of the 1st inning.  But, after cotton candy, hot dogs, ice cream, and some time playing ball with dad behind the bleachers – he was ok.  The thing he loved most of all was the fireworks at the end of the game!  I loved having him with us for the night.  It’s one of the ways I try balancing ministry and family time.  He loved hanging out with the college students too.  We will try to update soon with photos of us at the beach.  Got to go for now – time to play on the beach with Ashley and the boys.

  1. That sounds just like his mother at her first college football game. After the game opening kickoff, she wanted to know who had won the game. Thank goodness Esther was there with us as she entertained Ashley for the rest of the game!
