Wednesday night had the Ignite Christmas Service in the youth room. We decided to have a multi-sensory service where students and parents could go around to various prayer stations and experience God’s Word through their five senses and spend time in prayer, reflection, and journaling rather than simply hearing the spoken Word proclaimed. Our hope was that the students would connect with God in a new way and maybe a way that helps them learn better. I think it was successful. We had around 80 teenagers and parents participate and most said that it was very meaningful and a great way for them to celebrate the birth of Christ. I’ve attached a photo collage of pictures from the five stations. Rebekah Dodds, one of our students, took these great photos.
