Back in the day I had strep throat every year as a kid – sometimes multiple times. It’s hard to remember a winter when I was growing up without that familiar soar & nasty throat feeling. But one year it just stopped. In fact, it’s been a few decades since I’ve had it. Well, it’s back. It started with Ashley on Tuesday, then on to me and now Anderson has it. The doctor put Ellis on the medication tonight to help prevent him from being the fourth victim in the family.
This weekend I’m “on call” for the church. Being on call means I visit the members who are in the hospital and take care of any emergencies that come up over the weekend. I guess this weekend I get to be on call for my boys too – thanks to my old friend – Strep Throat.
