This week we have a team of students from Morningside in New Orleans for a week of missions.  We’re divided into two teams in the mornings leading two Vacation Bible Schools for kids in the city.  In the afternoons we’re clearing off overgrown lots in the Lower 9^th Ward.  So far it’s been great.  The students are all doing an awesome job being the light of Christ to the kids.  I’ve been so pumped by how well everyone is pulling together, being flexible, and sharing their faith.  This picture is from our first morning as we were heading out to our sites. It’s late tonight as I post this blog.  I had intended to have a bunch of pictures for you to see, but hopefully by Tuesday night.  It’s 1:00am in New Orleans and it’s way past my bedtime.
