It’s hard to believe that I’ve been blogging my thoughts longer than I’ve had a Facebook page. The first blog I wrote was in May 2006 about the birth of our second son, Ellis. Back in those days I had to explain to most people what it meant to blog. I’ve used nathanneighbors.com over the past seven years to share my thoughts on life, family, ministry, and the adventures of the student ministries where I’ve served as youth pastor. Back in the summer of 2010 I even blogged daily for 90 days as I read through the entire Bible. From day 1 to day 90 there is an entry that shares my perspective on passages from Genesis to Revelation. Since 2006 I’ve made 475 posts that are on 42 different topics and it’s been read over 45,500 times (ok…so maybe half of those hits are from my mom…lol).
Today I’ve changed the style and theme of the blog and added a few new features. It’s been a while since I’ve spent much time cleaning it up – it is time for change. In addition to having a fresh look, cleaner design, and new social media connections – students and parents can now get information about upcoming events on the Crash Students tab.
