“There is none like you, O LORD, and there is no God besides you…” 1 Chronicles 17:20

In today’s reading, this verse especially hit me hard.  In our world, we don’t build golden statues to worship, but we do use other things as idols.  Whether it’s Netflix, our phones, sports or whatever, we still worship idols in a way by giving those things more time than we give the God who died on the cross for us.  This little verse among all 14 chapters of reading  today explains exactly how we need to live our lives.  We as Christians should live like there is no God other than the one true God.
