Romans 10 & 11

Romans 10 & 11

“Brother’s my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is they may they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge” – Romans 10:1-2

Paul opens chapter 10 with these words. He then goes on to talk about and talk to the people of Israel for the next two chapters pleading with them to follow Christ. Paul was Saul (A Jewish leader) before coming to faith in Christ. He knew all too well the misplaced zeal of the people of Israel. He wanted nothing more than to see his fellow people saved.

That is the still the mission today. There are so many in our world who need to come to faith in Christ. The Great Commission is still just as urgent today as it was then. We are called to be the hands and feet that go and minister in the name of Jesus and tell all people about our wonderful Savior.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!” – Romans 10:15b
