There is so much depth in these chapters. So much that Paul is trying to convey. Ultimately he is reminding the church that life should be different now that the Holy Spirit is indwelling inside them. Paul says that if the Law was glorious, how much more glorious a life in the Spirit. (2 Cor. 3:7-9).
We ought to live differently! As followers of Christ, we no longer live with faces veiled. Because of Christ we can approach the Lord. We can talk to him at any time. We ought to be the aroma of Christ to others (2 Cor. 2:15).
As we begin our first day back in Florence after camp – let us do so in the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness, with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. – 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
