Today is Palm Sunday 2007 and is our first full day in Panama Beach. We have 47 down here for the week. We all arrived safely yesterday. Unfortunatley today the double red flags are up (for strong current) – so no ocean swimming – but everyone is have a great time in the pool and laying on the beach. This morning we opened our day with worship on the beach and the Lord’s Supper.
Throughout the week we are studying the stories of Mary, Joseph, John the Baptist, Jesus and others as we study Heroes of the faith. My prayer as that all of our teens will be returning from Panama with a refreshed vision of the person God has created them to be. God has called each of us to take a stand – to be bold – to live a life that points others to His Son.
I better sign out for now – we are headed to the mall for the afternoon and then back for worship and session three.
Keep praying for us and I will blog again tomorrow. Parents – don’t forget to take this 2007 Youth Survey online this week. Go to www.sbcyouthsurvey.com – our code is 0279141. This will help us in our efforts to do effective youth ministry. Thanks.
