Tonight, Ashley and I had the great opportunity to go to a Sunday School class party and we aren’t even in the class. I guess we got bumped up a notch to the class of couples who are just a couple of years older than us. We left the children at “Parents Night Out” (thanks to Mrs. Carole and the teenagers) and then we had a covered dish dinner and a time of fellowship. The night came to a close with a competitive game of “Apples to Apples.” It’s a fairly new card game where you have to pair words together and the person with the most green cards – I won’t even try to explain it anymore. Anyway, Coby Hennecy, the wife of one of our praise band drummers won with her four green cards. You would have thought it was a million dollar lottery win. (Ha Ha Ha)
We all had a great time and it was a fun way to spend a Saturday night. Thank you for inviting us and allowing us to share our lives with yours at Morningside. We love hanging out with you all and doing ministry with you in Spartanburg.
I still can’t believe I didn’t even get one green card!
