Anderson’s Baptism

This past Sunday was Easter and I got the opportunity to baptize our oldest son.  What better day to be baptized.  In the early church most baptisms were done on Easter.  In addition to being the first step of obedienace for believers, it’s also a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.  It’s a picture of His work in our live and the new life we have received because of His sacrifice.   In November I wrote about how Anderson accepted Christ as his Lord & Savior.  You can read about that experience in this blog post.  Check out this video clip of the baptism.  It was one of the best days of our lives and one we will never forget.  God has been so faithful and we are excited to see Anderson following after Him with his whole heart.

  1. We are so thankful that we have had the blessing of seeing Anderson grow up these past 7 years into a wonderful young man who has such Godly examples in his parents and others who surround him with the love of Jesus. We will continue to pray for you Anderson as you seek to be a child of God and our brother in Christ.
