Honduras 2014: Medical

The first two days of clinics have been long and full, but a blessing.  Our three doctors have examined 279 patients, being assisted by our awesome nurses and assistants.  We had teams giving out eye glasses doing dental work, running labs, sharing the Good News and giving Bibles to families.  Our pharmacy team has been busy filling over 1000 prescriptions in our first two days.  Dr. Connor says we saw a number patients with issues related to diabetes, hypertension, parasites, and a variety of infections.  They also saw a number of OB patients and performed a few minor surgical procedures.  We head to Limon tomorrow and have three more days of medical clinics beginning on  Monday.
