Honduras 2015 Day 1

After a year of praying, planning, fundraising and training, we’re back in Honduras tonight. This 43 member team is the largest team Ebenezer has commissioned to go over the past ten years. We boarded church buses at 3:00am on Tuesday morning, took two flights and a three hour bus ride to arrive at our base camp for the next four days of our journey. The team is road weary, but anxious to get started. Each day we’ll post updates to this blog to help our families and church experience this mission trip along side our team. Each evening a different team member will share stories of our journey. Tonight please pray for: a good night’s rest, team unity, open eyes and hearts as we get started tomorrow, and pray for the people we will meet this week. May people not only be healed physically by our medical team, but may people come to faith in Jesus Christ and experience a healing of their heart.

* The cross was passed last night from Ellis Neighbors to Dean Huiet

  1. Thank you to each one of you for being the hands and face of Jesus, to the Honduran people. May God richly bless your servant hearts.

  2. Thankful to see Ashley there with you! I’ve been praying for you both, as well as for the boys and grandparents at home! Praising God with you for Ellis!:) Love you all!
